Strategic & Brand Partnerships

dylan x dragon denim

Dragon Denim is a slow-fashion, woman-owned small business based in Atlanta, focused on custom denim items like painted and lace jackets. After discovering them on TikTok, I reached out to their founder Rayna for an intro call. We vibed so well that I immediately pitched her to my managers for a partnership with one of my favorite artists, Republic/Island UK’s Dylan. After months of planning, Rayna was able to make a few custom pairs of jeans for Dylan inspired by her single “Rebel Child,” and delivered them to her backstage at the Atlanta date of her tour with Gayle. After the show, we used the content to create a recap on our socials (Rayna created and posted one too!). We even ran a giveaway where a fan won a pair of their own custom “Rebel Child” jeans to match with Dylan. Working on this project was so fulfilling, and it taught me that anything is possible with with persistence and determination (essentially: follow up on your email threads!).

valley x whiskers
and wine

Indie-pop, cats and wine are a few of my favorite things, so a partnership between UMG Canada/Capitol Records' Valley and San Diego cat cafe/wine bar Whiskers & Wine was an absolute dream for me to work on. I discovered W&W on TikTok, and after pitching opportunities for a few months, we finally found the right fit with Valley. The band members stopped by the cafe before their San Diego show to try a custom drink inspired by their recent album (and snuggle with the cats, of course).

lucy dacus x exquisite creatures / nationale

As a self-proclaimed advocate of the fangirl to industry pro pipeline, one of the coolest parts about working in music for me has been getting to work on projects for some of my favorite artists. I checked a dream collab off my industry bucket list, when I got to help coordinate coffee shop and bookstore partnerships with Interscope Records' Lucy Dacus! While I am not from the Portland area, I was tasked with connecting with coffee shops and bookstores in the city to execute partnerships around the release of Lucy's new album, "Forever Is A Feeling." Lucy's fall 2022 tour stop in New Haven was the first live show I ever got a press ticket to, and her music has had a huge impact on my life, so I was more than excited to rise to the challenge. We launched her custom tea, the Forever Rose Fog, at Exquisite Creatures, known for its plant-based drinks and sweet treats. We also had a collection of "Lucy's Picks," books that inspired the record, on display at Nationale, a local woman-owned art gallery and bookstore. Having a small part in one of my favorite artists' release weekends was surreal, and I know younger me who was obsessed with Lucy's songs like "Hot & Heavy" and "VBS" as a senior in high school would be proud.

stephan moccio x wqaq

The day before my 21st birthday, I got an amazing gift - being able to coordinate Stephan Moccio's visit to Quinnipiac University! Stephan, one of the minds behind songs like Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" and The Weeknd's "Earned It" as well as a talented musician himself, spoke to students about his career through an event sponsored by WQAQ 98.1 FM, QU's student-run radio station. As WQAQ's general manager and a strategic partnerships representative for °1824 - Universal Music Group, I got to lead planning this from start to finish. This was my first in-person event on QU's campus for °1824, and it was an absolute dream. We also had members from Q30, QU's student-run TV station, attending to report on the event - because I will always support student journalism <3

Social & Digital Content

Over almost three years on the UMG/°1824 team, I ideated, created and posted over 400 pieces of content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube shorts. From proving my Gen Z status through silly memes to crafting polished event recaps for labels like Republic and Island Records, this role helped me grow as a creative director, designer, copywriter, account admin, and content creator. All of my social content for °1824, including live links and statistics, is available below via my Gondola profile!

Chronically online? Me too. Let's do it together!
